Can anyone advise, there are 2 types, the one in the green tub (normal) and one in the orangey-brown tub (vegan organic) - can we have either/both? I have always had the one in the green tub since long before I started LL and had the organic for the first time this week - it was delicious with weeny bits of veg in it. I can't believe we can have this can we? (And yes, I know it's not official and to be official we have to buy the expensive savoury water flavourings but I've heard that this is just the same stuff).

Thanks

Hiya

I have no idea of this but I'm sure someone with more knowledge will be along soon who will be able to help out!!!

I do find the Cambridge veg mix great though on days when I really want something savoury and don't want to use a pack just yet!!!!

Hope things are well with you xxx

I find both of those far too salty - so I have the one in the purple tub with orange lid (reduced salt vegan version) so so so much nicer. If it isn't with the usual tubs, then you'll find it in the health food/gluten free aisle in the supermarket.
Enjoy!

Hi,
My Hubby uses the one in the green tub and it has had no effect on his weightloss.

I use the standard Marigold bouillon with no adverse effects at all. I limit it to 2 per day, though not every day, as with the official LL savoury drinks.

Its lovely to have a cup of Marigold with a big mushroom poppadom as an evening nibble!!

I have been using the organic low salt version , but today I was in Tesco and spooted the one in the purple tub which is the vegan low salt version and its yummy it smells and looks much different to the organic low salt version and is much more like the Lighter Life savory drinks with a distint celery smell and taste. I am so p[leased I discovered this version as I dont like the smell of the organic low salt it smells fatty to me like rancid amimal fat smell (gawd knows where I have that idea from!) but my sense of smell has definately changed and is SOOO sensitive at the moment.
My LL counsellor said NO when she read the ingredieints as she said it contained fat (palm oil) when I asked, but then they want you to buy the expensive one they sell and to be honest I have checked the ingredients and they are more or less identical and the LL one contains fat too (palm oil).
I think the issue here is portion control , as the LL comes in tiny little sachets so its measured out exactly and if you stick to the recommended 2 sachets you know you cant go wrong , whereas with the marigold you have to be quite strict because I guess you could have too much very easily.
I have used it on and off throughout and its never affected my losses but honestly preferred the taste of the LL one , alas I only have had one box coz its very expensive. But now I have found the vegan version I will def be sticking with it and will have to measure it out carefully.
Have a good mooch round I am sure you will find the one thats suits you.
