Ab Belt & MyFitnessPal

This might sound a daft question :p

I use myfitnesspal to track my calories and exercise etc and I have an ab belt which is sposed to be scientifically proven to amount to doing 120 ab crunches in 20 minutes.

Do you think I can get away with adding these "crunches" to my exercise diary on there? Maybe if I halve the time as I`m not actually doing 40 mins of sit ups lol

Surely, My muscles are using the same energy in the "work out" as they would if I were doing them myself?? Or am I trying to kid myself :p

I`m off to my first exercise/dance class tonight, Hope I don`t keel over!! haha

Xx

I can't answer ur question - just wanted to say good luck with the class :) x

I personally would class me slendertone as exercise x

Thankyou :D x I had a lot of fun! Though with the toning/stretching exercises  I`m gonna be feeling those in places I never knew existed tomorrow lmao x

Thankyou :) I think I`ll put them as half the amount as I wasn`t physically doing the crunches, Though I can guarantee I did tonight at my new class  x

The trouble with slendertone is you are not working your muscles through their whole range, and not against resistance so it will never work your muscles like proper crunches.
