Scarlet you won't lose as much on 790 as you will on SS but there isn't a massive difference. If you are struggling with SS then definitely do 790, especially if you feel you may lapse on SS at least you know you can have something to eat on 790.
I am struggling on SS a bit too - I am still losing about 1-2 lbs a week but keep straying onto food so have decided to go with 790. I have been advised that you can lose about 12 lbs per month on the 790 and at least you can still have a meal each day so something to look forward to - will have to keep each other posted on how we get on !! I am starting mine today, so let me know how you get on - at the end of the day, as long as the weight comes off then that's the important thing. SS isn't for everybody!! Nothing to worry about as long as you are happy and you are doing the weight loss thing the right way! :grouphugg:
Thanks all for the replies. I tried to restart SS few months ago but failed. Feel like I'm ready to try again now but was wondering about the 790 plan just incase I failed SS again!
Got 4 days in Ireland coming up in 2 weeks and can't decide wether to start SS tomorrow and deal with the 4 days away as it comes or to wait until I come back and then I will have a long clear run.
Thanks Scarlett. I did do sole source last year but once again in 14 days I only lost 6lbs and most of that was the first week and then when I see no losses I lose all motivation. It's stupid I know, but the diet is hard enough without seeing results that early on. I guess I am just not suited to the VLCD diets...lol. Still at least I know I can lose weight counting calories even if it is slow.
