I love Success Express!

After a week of Success Express, I managed to lose 4lbs at WI this week - and this from someone who normally has to fight for every half pound! Got my half stone award and Slimmer of the Week, which I've never been in the running for before as I can't usually compete with the bigger losses of those with more to lose. It was joint between me and two other ladies. Got some nice bling to stick on my book now, hooray!

Fingers crossed it doesn't catch up with me next week now I'm going back to green...

Ooh well done! Great result, you must be very proud of yourself x

Isn't green success express anyway???
I thought the idea was to have 2/3 superfree, which is most veg...??
Or have I not grasped the green concept correctly.. ( I have always been on EE.. RED and GREEN weren't really explained fully when I joined.. )

Thanks Beegee!

No, green is not the same as SE: you can't have meat or fish on green but most carb-based foods like pasta, rice and potatoes are free. There is no rule about how much superfree you need to have: if you eat nothing but pasta that's technically fine. Plus you can snack on any free food between meals.

On Success Express you can mix red and green day foods (so include meat and fish), but it can only be 1/3 of each meal and you can only snack on superfree between meals. Also, where something has a different syn value on red or green you have to take the higher value.

On green you could (in theory) eat a dinner that consisted of nothing but green free foods. There's no superfree requirement on red or green, although you still should aim to have at least 5 fruit or veg a day anyway on any plan.
