A happy downward spiral
How will you be spending yours?

Im hunting down some really awesome recipes to make for me and hubby. We never really have dessert at the minute so wanna make him something gorgeous and il just be good. But all the other courses will be low syn and good =)

What about you, or are you boycotting?

Well hubbie works away during the week so we're not doing Valentine's day until Saturday 19th February - would have been on Saturday 12th but I'm out with the girls then.

I'm not sure what we're doing to be honest but I'd love to go out for a meal but hubbie isn't too sure since he's abroad all week!!

Hope you enjoy your meal xx

Me & OH don't celebrate valentines. We both feel we don't need valentines day to show each other how much we love each other, ahhhhhh.;)

This year we will be in India:eek:, just 4 more sleeps:D but still wont do anything special.

My DD is making a special meal for her & her boyfriend, last year she baked heart shaped biscuits.

My H is working Valentines night & I'm babysitting on the 12th so probably nothing X

My valentines will be on the saturday..and not the monday :( As my bf lives in london and we're both at work monday. Hey Ho.. xx

Not sure what we're doing x

Hi Chrissie

That sounds great are you going anywhere fab?

Sarah x

.... As my bf lives in london and we're both at work monday. Hey Ho.. xx

that's what you think...
he's really taking the day off and will be cooking you a nice romantic ( and SW friendly ) meal for 2 and be waiting for you at home with roses and syn free chocolates when you get home.. ;)

well that's what I'd do if I had a gf...

I will be pushing the boat out and sending a card.

A humorous one though, none of this soppy rubbish. Took me ages to find one that didn't make me feel nauseous so I hope he appreciates the effort :D

That'd be so sweet!

yeah well, nice guys finish last...
you all say you want a sweet, nice guy.. but at the end of the night you always go home with the dangerous, bad boy type guys... :(

I'm doing V day post Valentines and post WI (next week is fast forward week- so really reigning it in). Then I'll go out for a meal with the husband and enjoy one meal off plan. :)

I don't know what we will be doing! I'll be just happy to spend the weekend with him. *all together now* awww!

Wouldn't that just be awesome if that did happen.. Don't think so though lol x

We don't do cards/gifts, just have a special meal in. Not sure what we're having but it will be probably be off plan!

I got a giant cupcake mould for Christmas so as a special treat I'm making a carrot cake flavoured cupcake and will enjoy a slice :D

Husband flatly refuses to buy into Valentines Day i was a bit hurt about it when we 1st met but he said he loves me all the year round and shows it so he wont be pushed into buying a card when rotten husbands behave badly all year and think buying a card fixes everything. I suppose he has a point. So nowt for me.:D

Just another day for us. Get a card and (maybe if im in the mood) get lucky but thats about it lol x

That's what H & I did a few years back for V-day & the result was our son :eek::8855:

We never go out on Valentine's Day purely because all restaurants put the prices up. It's silly.
This year though my brother in law and wife have invited us out for Valentine's lunch on the Sunday. We are going for lunch where they got married.....
Here it is :)

Welcome to Blackbrook

We're celebrating on either the Sunday or Tuesday as we're both working late on Monday. No idea what we're doing though.. I have a feeling hubby is planning something but I'm not too sure.

We'll exchange cards but money's tight so I don't expect a present.
