My Extra Easy Diary to help keep me on track.

Hi there, I am very new to this forum as this is only my 2nd post however I have been noseying on the site for many months to get lots of fantastic tips.

I joined slimming world meetings back in october and started off relatively well. But when it got to christmas I decided to continue to stay on the slimming world plan as I enjoy it so much but not to go to the meetings as paying £20 a month all adds up and I'd rather put that money towards extra fruit/veg etc that i eat.

Anyways since then I have stuck to the plan but had my slips and not really lost any weight. In all fairness I do not have much to lose but I like how the plan keeps me feeling healthy and I don't head for that biscuit tin at work. So I thought i would post my diary on here really for myself, so I can hopefully keep on track.

Any advice or tips along the way would be very much apprectiated.

Sunday (extra easy):

B: bacon, eggs and 1 scrambled egg
L: Bachelors pasta and sauce - cheese, leek and ham (1 syn) Mullerlight
T: cottage pie with extra lean minced beef, peas, sweetcorn, carrots, celery, mash potatoes, roast potatoes and roasted parnsips with a little gravy (1 1/2 syns)

S: 1 rich tea finger biscuit (1 syn)
Pineapple with low fat natural yoghurt
Mullerlight
Chocolate m&ms (5 syns)

Milk in tea (HEa) 2 x alpen bar (1 HEb)

Good evening, hope we are all well! Would really appreciate some feedback on my diary. I really want to keep this up, anyways here we go.

Tuesday:

B: blueberries, apple and low fat nat yoghurt.
S: 1 alpen light bar (1/2 HEb) and banana
L: pasta, quorn pieces with beans, ww toffee yoghurt
S: pear, apple, mini heroes fudge (2syns)
T: mash potato, mixed veg including carrots, peas and sweetcorn, carrots, brocolli, cabbage and half a chicken fillet with gravy (2 syns) activia yoghurt
S: milk in tea (1 x HEa)
S: rocky bar (5.5 syns) apple and spoonful of mullerlight, biscuit (2 syns)

Well last night went over syns, only by about 3. You know when you think I want to use my syns so I'll treat myself, couldn't think of what to have and then found a couple of things lol
Been feeling quite down these past 24 hours but striving through to the weekend. Just think I can't bothered with a lot of things at the moment but it's not affecting my slimming world.
So today,

Thursday:
S: 1 rich tea finger biscuit (1syn)
B: 2 quorn sausages, 2 rashers of bacon and baked beans.
S: apple and orange
L: mash, veg and half a chicken fillet from last night.
S: gingerbread man i decorated with the kids at worked. I did a demo and then couldn't not eat him (i guess around 3syns)
S: banana
T: tomato soup (passata, chopped tomatoes, baked beans, garlic powder, herbs and pepper all blended together) potato wedges.

S: 2 weetabix HEb, banana, apple and danone yoghurt Milk (HEa)
S: 1 rich tea finger biscuit (1syn)

Hi I am trying! My main aim is to get my veggies in, but late home tonight and i hate cooking then so did something nice and simple for tea.

Getting on ok. I've been on the plan for some time and I do love it :)

So Friday is here, my friend came up to me with excitement that she'd got into a smaller pair of trousers. For some reason this has spurred me on to keep me on track. So here goes;

S: 1 rich tea finger biscuit (1 syn)
B: apple, danone yoghurt and alpen light bar (1/2 HEb)
S: banana and a carrot
L: left over tomato soup from last night with pasta, danone yoghurt.
S: banana and mullerlight

Tea at the moment is undecided, I have had 1syn today only so a good day so far. Will trying, for what I hope will be a weetabix cake tonight so will need some syns for that.

Tea: fish pie, with loads of veg. (3syns for sauce)

Wondering at the moment as to whether I should be updating here. I do, do a blog where I update too, but noone reads that. I feel quite on my own if i'm honest.
 
Can't be bothered doing this but here goes.

B: activia yoghurt, 2 rashers of bacon and 2 scrambled eggs
S: apple
L: 2 bread rolls with ham and butter (no idea on syns but no allowing any other syns for the day and having my HEb later)
S: activia yoghurt, grapes and banana slices with LF nat yoghurt
S: small bowl of smash as pre tea snack
T: soup (potato, leek, spring onion, carrots, parnsips, veg stock, salt and pepper) hopefully it will taste nice. apple, blackberries and LF nat yoghurt
S: pudding rice, muller yoghurt for a yummy rice pudding.

Milk in tea as HEa

Hi SuperVic. Have just been reading ur food dairy, it has given me a few tips on what to eat so thanks for that, new to this site so not sure what to do or where to look for things, have just joined SW and have about 3 stone to loose if i can work it might put my day to day dairy on see if im doing it right. Hope your having a good wk end and sticking to plan.

iv just had a read through your diaries and they all look good, i dont have much weight to lose now (ignore my sig it hasnt been updated in a while, lol) and im struggling to shift it, doesnt help that i have quit smoking either, lol.
if i was you i would keep doing what you are doing and the last bit of weight you are wanting to lose will hopefully shift. good luck
 
There's not much I can add to your diary, in the main it looks fine. Although I would point out that potatoes, parsnips, peas and sweetcorn dont count towards your 1/3 a day on EE and on the few days to have posted you do seem to have them a lot. Perhaps you could try subsituting some of them ie swede mash rather that mash potato, baby whole sweetcorn rather than just sweetcorn etc

Blue smartie, thankyou for the advice but looking back through my diary the amount of superfree foods in comparison to non superfree was actually a greater amount! For e.g, I had 1 parsnip yesterday in comparison to about 2 huge handfuls of carrots! On other days when I've had sweetcorn/peas it's been in small amounts to my huge helpings of brocolli, carrots and cauliflower :)
 
Right today I am back to posting full time I think! Not sure on breakie yet but I'm off to get the day started with a cuppa :)
 
No problems, you didnt specify amounts (no reason why you should tho), so just checking :p I have been guilty in the past of ladling on my favs and squeezing a spoonful of carrots on the side, thinking that will do :eek: which probably prempted my post
 
Nah I don't weigh my veggies, but these last 10 days I try to put in more superfree than free :)
