Diuretics

I have been on diuretics for 2 years, i tend to have swollen ankle.
I stopped taking them for 4 days, so i started putting on weight.
Then I retook them AND I lost in 24 hours 9 pounds!!!
Anyoneon prescription diuretics? I do not even know why i retain so much water.

have you tried to speak about that to your doctor? It doesn't sound right that you need to take medication in order to lose weight or maintain and diuretics are really bad for your health! There must be something else you can do, there might be something wrong in your lymphatic system that the diuretics are just masking and not curing. I would ask your GP for a VERY in-depth check in with a lot of different tests to see what's wrong.
