Advice Needed - Leaving work early due to pregnancy tiredness

Rather comfy here
Hiya

I will try and keep this simple

I am 22 weeks pregnant and on/off I have had periods where I am really tired (exhausted) at work about 3ish. My working hours are either 7.30am to 4pm or 9am to 4pm. I do extra hours one week to cover the shorter hours.

On the week, I start at 7.30 I find about 3ish I am really exhausted and ask to leave work early due to pregnancy related tiredness and up until my manager didnt seem to have a problem (she has said to me its ok to leave early if its pregnacy related tiredness).....BUT

This week, I pushed myself too hard on Tuesday and found although I came into work on the Wednesday I ended up coming straight home as I felt really tired, had a fuzzy head and my body ache.

Now my manager is saying I should go to the Doctor and see if I should be at work, as I keep saying I am exhausted about 3ish. I explained its due to the amount of work I have and its natural part of being pregnant.

It has now really worried me, that my manager is going to try and change my working hours or something. She wont except that its the amount of work I have.

Its making me anxious and the 'conversation/meeting' we will have isnt till next Wednesday.

I know its not effecting my work ( i always do all my work before leaving early so not work outstanding), I always cover the early mornings (none of my team ever come in till 10am) and im only leaving 30mins to 1 Hour early.

Should I be concerned, what actions can she take against me..................what I really want to know is am I going to get into trouble????

Sorry for long post, im just on the verge of tears!

Has your manager given you any reason why the meeting is so far away, possibly you could request its bought forward.
I know that it is tiring being pregnant, have been there myself 4 times, however being totally exhausted by 3pm is probably something you should get checked out, especially so early in your pregnancy.
What do you do for a living? As it might well be that they need to make suitable adjustments during your pregnancy to your role, which they havent done yet?

We both work part time so the next time we see each other is Wednesday. I work in London so I have travelling time of an 1hour each way.

As for my for my role the only adjustment made is not the lifting. My workload is the same, on top I've been off over Jan and had to catch up a months worth of work in 5 days. Plus I also am responsible for doing a training of a new manager.

I also suffer with a condition where I get fainting spells which can be caused by tiredness or stress.

The doctor has said I'm to not push myself too hard but my hours and working day shouldn't need to be adjusted.

Have a look at www.acas.org.uk, it gives excellent advice for all manner of HR related issues, so might be worth knowing what the situation is with rights before going into the meeting.
