so far ive not had to add a meal but now ive been on cd for 11 weeks am i due to add a meal bit confused by it really as cdc said when i first started i would be adding a meal every 6 weeks?? also what does add a meal mean (chip shop i wonder;)) any advice would be fab

im also thinking of going up a plan this week as im feeling so cold and weak but not sure dont want to sabotage anything x

The add a meal week means going up a step to the 810 plan for a week (i had to do this week 14 - I slipped it by 2 weeks as I didn't want to eat over xmas/newyear). basically its still your 3 shakes a day and in simple terms white meat and leaves should be green. the list from the booklet is:

250 g palin cottage cheese (5% fat)
325 reduced fat Cottage cgees(less than 2 % fat)
175 g chicken breast without skin/fat
275 g white fish fillet - eg cod/haddock
260g tinned tuna (in water drained)
190g fresh tuna steak
275g quorn pieces/mince (not the sausages as they have extra stuff in apparently)
250g prawns
2 large eggs
210 regular or 400g firm tofu

All cooked without frying - so steamed, boiled, grilled, baked etc. you can add herbs and spices, curry powder,(no salt) , balsamic vinegar fat/calorie free dressings.

then you choose 3 tablespoons of

green salad leave such as rocket, lambs lettuce, watercress, little gem lettuce etc
celery cucumber or red radishes
courgettes, marrow, kale, turnip tops, broccoli. caulifower or any cabbage, mushrooms
Chinese leafy grees such as pak choi or chinese cabbage

These are limited as they contain some carbs.

Also allowed284ml of skimmed milk (to add to tea and coffee) and the normal 2.25L of water

I was really worried about it - was sure I would gain - but still managed to lose 3 lbs.

Have fun and enjoy it.

basically thats it - no potoatoes, rice, past, carbs or fruit.

Doesnt look like much but you can make some lovely meals with it.

setas has it spot on :) your CDC should give you a booklet that explains it all before you start .
I have just moved up to 810 as my BMI is 25 now and its a great plan , its amazing what yummy concoctions you can make with thefood you are allowed !! And the losses are an average of 3lb a week so not much different to SS :)

enjoy :)

Wow Katie - you are Normal!! I missed that - well done - fabulous

Thanks all for the info will speak to CDC next week about it x
