can you carry over syns?

Hi

I'm doing SW on my own at home and wondered if you are allowed to carry syns over from previous days? I'm getting mixed messages from other girls on the plan...

Xx

it's a complicated answer...
yes, no and maybe all at the same time..

you are allowed to "flexi syn" as it's called but what the definition of that is differs from consultant to consultant..
ours says you have 105 for the week and can use them how you see fit, others say you have 15 a day but can have more on one day and less on the next / previous as needed, but not an entire weeks worth in one day..

think about it though..
if you have none all week then 105 on the last day before weigh in, you're undoing all of that weeks work in one go..
105 syns is 2100 calories which is over what a woman should have per day, and that's before any proper food..
they are there for ballance and so you don't feel deprived though so it's up to you how you use them..

I just googled for calorie recomendations and found this site..
usefull to know how many calories you need to maintain your current weight ( you need around 600 less than this to lose weight.. )
https://www.purelifestyle.co.uk/Calculators.aspx?idx=3

according to that I need 4400 calories a day to maintain!!!!! so what must I have been eating to gain???

I was just going to ask the same thing as i have gone over 1/2 a syn today and wondered if that was okay s i havent had 15 all week

SW is the ultimate flexibler plan. I've always used syns weekly and I've lost 7 stone. If you read posts on here one thing is obvious - different things work for different people.
Some people will argue against using syns weekly, others argue for it. Everyone is right. If you try it and it works for you, carry on doing it. If you try it and it doesn't work for you, stop doing it.

well put.. but one question.. do you use the bulk of your syns in one day and is that a long time from your weigh in date?

I use most of them on Saturday and Sunday and after WI on Wednesday and just a few on other days.
