Syn Value changes in LOW SYN SNACKS 2011

Hi Guys,

I recently got the 'Low Syn Snacks 2011' book and i have come across a few different syn values to my starter pack list.
I have always counted extra light mayo as 0.5 syns per 1 tbsp and light mayo as 2.5 per tbsp - but the book says:

Dressing, Mayonnaise, extra light - 1 level tbsp = 1 syn
Dressing, Mayonnaise, Light - 1 level tbsp = 3 syns

Has anybody else noticed this?? I'm now really worried that i am consuming 'hidden' syns!

Hi, I use the Sainsburys Be Good To Yourself mayo which works out at 1/2 syn.

The values given in the start pack are generic values for your average light and extra light mayo. Some will be lower while others are higher so it is best to check for your particular brand.
