So disheartened.

After my first week back and weighing in, I've only lost half a pound. (I know some will say that it's still a loss).

But *hand on heart* I was 100% on plan. I weighed everything and synned EVERYTHING. I put more effort into the past week then I have on slimming world.

I did a food diary which I left with my consultant.

Only thing I can think of was because it was star week for me. Could it really make that much of difference?

I'm still going to stick with it because I want to see if it might "catch up" next week but last night I felt so gutted when both my friends lost 5lbs between them and were eating choccie biccies, curries, drinking wine etc.

Sometimes people lose more in the second week than they do in the first, so you could be looking at a larger loss then.

When I used to do slimming world at uni with one of my female flatmates she always gained or STS during her star week. It used to bother her at first, but she changed her mind set to looking at weight loses for a whole month rather than week to week.

If you had been eating fairly well before you started back this week, then it's probably not so much of a shock to the body like the first week normally is.

It is always deflating to have a small loss, especially if you've had big first week losses in the past, but if you carry on your body will catch up at some point!!

Thanks Ladies. What both of you said has made sense as I was pretty much back on plan before I officially rejoined.

Will keep going and see how it goes over the month. Fingers crossed for next week! x
