Is there a trick to the choc shake?

Well not made into a shake, but into hot choc? Upon earlier advice I have been buying the choc tetras and making them into hot choc, mmm lovely jubly! Thought that I would stop creating so much waste buying the tetras (environmentally) and bought the choc sachets this week, but bleargh...mingtastically minging! It's the same stuff right, so how the heckings can I make it without the minging froth, and ewww taste. I've 5 more days of the choco-ming, not coping well and eating junk as I can't finish them, or even get close to consuming enough of them to be useful. Oh and I can't get to my CDC to change them, so not luck there.

I find the choc shakes taste totally different than the tetras and can't abide them hot on their own. I always have to add splenda and/or some coffee.

I don't have a problem with froth normally though.. .I blend them up as normal with the blender and they are fine. Are you whisking or blending?

To use them up try them cold blended with ice ... lovely that way.

i can't stand the shakes hot either, none of them. only the tetras work in my opinion.

Thanks GG. I'm blending them and getting a whole load of froth. Tried cold with ice and was not nice either. I LOVE some of the other shakes this way (strawb and banana), but the choc one doesn't seem to mix as well as the others.

Oh well, just going to have to grin and bear it this week, and get back to the tetras next time. Liva and learn!

i think the tetras have a weird fishy aftertaste,much prefer the shakes!
