Hi I'm new to this place so......

Well here's a little about me, I'm 25 and weigh In at 18st 5lb.

I'm getting married in sept and have set myself a goal of getting down to 13st. & hopefully doing a sky dive in d summer, however there's a 15st weight restriction, so gotta lose 3 1/2 st by mid June. :s

I'm following old points weight watchers, got ww pedometer etc and as of 2mro my body is a temple lol!

Good luck to every1 on here with their weight loss!!

I found the pedometer was a major help in getting my mind in gear to lose weight. I made sure even if I ate badly, I tried to do my 10000 steps a day (or 11300 in my case, as 10000 is 5 miles for the average guy stride, and I wanted to match it). The way I see it, even if I don't lose, it's very hard to gain walking at least 35miles a week! Once you start exercising, I find it easier to eat well, as you became less likely to want to waste your efforts. 6 weeks down the line and I'm now 1.5 stones lighter, and have walked at least 240 miles! (and cycled around 11 more)

I guess what I'm trying to say, once you get on a roll, it becomes easier to keep going. And it also becomes easier to recover from off days as you begin to see it as damage limitation instead of "oh well crap dieting day, might as well take the whole weekend off". You start to think, how can I fix what I did, how can I prevent it again.

Anyhow, good luck in your weight loss journey :)
