I'm new too!

Hello all!

I've been reading the forums for a while now for inspiration and I finally pluck up the courage to register, say hello and start a diary myself.

I'm 34, have PCOS and although I've never been skinny, I piled up the pounds badly over the last 5 years or so. I did attempt to lose weight before, started fine every time but lost the motivation and willpower after the first couple of weeks. This time I'm hoping this is going to be for good and I'm on a mission to lose 10 stones, eeek!

I have no deadlines set as I'd like to be realistic and set the first mini-goal as 1 stone but I'd like to be over and done with the weight loss marathon in 2011 but I'm fully aware that the calorie counting for maintaining will be a part of my life forever. So I'm trying to make a life style change rather than only starving myself...

I started a Rosemary Conley class in the beginning of January. I lost 7lbs at the end of the first and 3lbs at the end of the second week - a total of 10lbs so far. My 4th weigh-in is tomorrow and as every week, I'm pretty nervous! Other than the weekly RC class, I go to the gym 3 times a week, attending at least one class.

Well, that's me... Any motivation and tips will be most welcome and I look forward to getting to know you guys better in the days to come!
