Lactulose solution?

Hi, I am on day 6 of SS (can smell lamb cooking downstairs and its killing me! After the smell of roast beef yesterday! - does anyone else feel like everyone seems to cook/offer you more luxurious food when you can't have any!?)

Anyway like a lot of people on here I haven't done a number 2 in a while!! So I went to the pharmacy and bought some Lactulose solution (bottle says - active ingredient: Lactulose, other ingredients: lactose and galactose)

I haven't taken any yet as I am not sure if this is ok? Does anybody know if this is alright to take?

hi , i think its not allowed , i am sure it containms a lot of sugar . The things I know we can have are - movicol ( what i use ) , senna , dulcolax, dulcolax pearles ,

I find they all give me aweful cramps and the runs apart from movicol

determinator is right. lactulose is not allowed as it is a syrup. it is made from a lot of sugar.
