Yesterday my scales showed I had lost 5lb since my last weigh in, today the show that I'm 1lb heavier than I was at my last weigh in!!! Can I seriously gain 6lb overnight? I have been 100% on SS xxx

Yes yes and yes!

This is why daily weighing is not recommended. Your weight can fluctuate by an average of 5lbs a day! And it is not "real" weight .. it is just about what your body is doing at that moment in time metabolically.

So ... unless you can step on the scales and just throw away the number that appears as not relevant it is best to put the scales away and just focus on your weekly weighin with your CDC.

hmm that does sound a bit dodgy , if you weigh at the smae time of day , wear the same sort of clothes and have been 100 % there is no way that is right !! Are you scales old ? had you drunk a lot of water before you weighed today ? had you just had a pack ??

try new batterys, my cdc's scales once showed a loss of 4 stone 5lb in a week ( geez i wish! ) batterys were on the way out and sending them a bit haywire, lol

Scales only 2 weeks old, exactly the same clothes and time of day, no pack before and 2 cups of coffee xxx

my new cdc's scales and my scales have completley different readings we go off my scales now because there was such a huge difference and i'd been using them from when i started cd with my old consultant, i know weight fluctuates throughout the day but i weigh myself twice a day and i've never had a 5lb gain, maybe as someone said the batteries could be running low lol

I was weighed last week and lost 3 lbs - when the cdc went out to get my shakes I stood on them again (because i was only 1/8 of a pound off getting below 14!) and they were 1 1/2 lbs heavier - in less than 2 minutes! Needless to say i ignored them ;-)
