My Story.......

The old me is coming back
Hello all,

Posting on here as is very quiet on the Bride’s forum!

My story – Did Lipotrim last year and lost 3.5 stone, reached 13.7 stone. Delighted with myself and ordered a lovely size 14 wedding dress. Full forward 8 months and had re-gained all the lost weight to bring me back to 14 stone (eugh!) Basically I lost the run of myself and the more I re-gained the more I panicked, the more I ate!!!

Anyway, finally got a grip on myself last week and started the CD. Have lost 8lbs to date and am currently on Day 6. I am finding it better than Lipotrim as the products are much nicer, although I was very disappointed at lunchtime with my first caramel bar! I do adore the Oriental chilli soup though – delicious with chilli powder and pepper!

So, I have 10 weeks left in which to loose 3 stone – can it be done? I sure as heel hope so! Any words of advice from anyone who has lost a similar amount in this time would be greatly appreciated.

I have my first dress fitting on Saturday, last time I tried on the dress I was 11 stone, am going to be just over 13 this time and I feel sick at the thought of it. I hate that I have done this to myself when I should have been, at this point, enjoying the wedding preparations etc, not panicking and depressed.

Anyway, I have my hen next weekend – 20th & 21st July. It’s a weekend away with the girls and is going to involve food and drink, what will I do? I am very scared of drinking as I don’t want to damage myself, but how can I avoid it on a hen? What about food?I will be back on the straight and narrow on Sunday, just Friday night and Saturday to contend with. I am very nervous about “re-starting” on the Sunday – what if I can’t and just keep getting bigger and bigger, re-starting is the hardest in my opinion.

Anyway, that’s my wee story, all thought s and comments greatly appreciated!

Thanks Nicky!

You are doing great yourself!!!

Hi Mitten,

Yes 3 stone in 10 weeks is very possible, as long as you want it.. and stick to it 100%
Good luck and keep us posted

Hmmm...Treat yourself!! Enjoy your hen night!!...I would push the boat out and have luxury food and drink!! Say no to the kebab and yes to the.......Champagne and lobster better quality food will do less damage!!
All I will say is careful with the alcohol at a recent wedding I had my first drink in a few months of doing this plan..... my night ended at 9:30 prompt as I could barely see and hardly stand...not the ladylike look I was going for...My sister had to put me to bed and 3 days later I was still ill!!!!
