Sore throat

I have a really sore throat today, I've taken some paracetamol, but wondering if there's anything else I can sensibly have while on Exante? Anyone got any suggestions?

Hey Cybil sorry to hear you have a sore throat, i would take either aspirin or ibuprofen to reduce the inflammation, gargle salt water for mint mouthwash, or maybe get one of those sprays from the chemist they really work. Hope it goes soon x x

They do sugar free strepsils now. I would imagine they would b fine, I used them when I used to do Atkins. I think I found them in sainsburys. X

I think they have a variety of sugar free products in chemists for diabetics best to go in and ask

Thank you all for your helpful advice, my darling hubby went and found an anaesthetic throat spray from the chemist which has really helped, and doesn't seem to contain sugar or anything likely to cause a problem. Anyway, it's helped my throat which is great. Just hope the sore throat goes away soon.... good as the spray is... would be nice to feel better

Baaah, just got back from the doctors. Turns out I've caught tonsilitis, so now have a week's course of antibiotics to take. Hopefully they will help clear it quickly

Oh dear , that's not nice. At least you know it will clear up fast with the antibiotics! Hope your better soon x
