of the doc giving me the tablets?? Im 12 stone 4 (ticker is wrong) and 5 foot 5 xx

It all depends on your BMI, if its below a certain level then you wont be prescribed it, you could always try alli if you dont get it!!

I think your BMI is 28.6 or around there...I'm not sure what they perscribe it at...anyone know what the BMI needs to be??

Yeah your BMI needs to be over 28, so you meet the criteria, but I don't know what would happen once you got below 28 =/ Worth a try though!

My BMI is just over 30 and my Dr didn't mention giving me Xenical but he was happy for me to try Alli. Apparently you shouldn't take Alli when you have a BMI of under 28. I'm hoping it can give me a kick start to get me on my way to a healthier BMI

You should have asked the doctor if he'd prescribe it for you, it's much cheaper than buying Alli and it's double the strength!
