Can i come back in here please?? I was only away for a cuppla wks and missed you guys. Couldn't even read the forum because the talk of food and eating was a source of pain

So much for the VLCD. When will i ever learn, ther's no such thing as a quick fix :sigh:

Didn't like it...nothing to talk about except how hungry i was!
Hard to believe how stressful it is, you'd think it'd be easy, just have 3 shakes a day. ha!

I'd go to bed hungry, grind my teeth all night and wake up with toothache....ouch

Back to Atkins - it's much more fun, i just have to learn portion control, hopefully 2 weeks of eating nout has helped me in that respect.

Welcome back lorna :)

Of course, Lorna - glad to have you back!! I was wondering where you went.

You and I have similar stats, and are nearly the same height, but I was a lot bigger than you when I started. Come back to the world of REAL FOOD and make yourself something yummy... and never be hungry again.

Plus, consider it training for when you reach your goal weight. You don't want to be living on shakes for the rest of your life.

Welcome back!

Aww, VLCDs can be so hard. I lost about 4 stone on Cambridge once but piiiiled it back on straight afterwards -- I think they have a bit of an effect on your metabolism so it's even easier to gain when you slip. Did try CD again last Jan but couldn't stick with it for more than a month. Sometimes I'm tempted, just for the quick loss, but I don't think I'd ever totally sole source again. Too hard!

Atkins just feels like a more reasonable way of living.

Good to see you back :D
