hey there am enjoying this so far,;) not hungry and enjoying my food again without bingeing on carbs, hallelujah!
Quick question folks..... how much cream can I have, atkins site says not a lot, BOOOO! Can I have sugar free jelly and is diet coke allowed? If not what other brands can I have? So scared to try in case I come out of ketosis...... Sarah x

Cream stall some people Sarah, and yes you can have FRANKENFOODS if you must. Sniff.

Weird how our bodies work. Cream was never a problem for me but so much as a sniff of sugar free jelly and I would stall.

Hi Sadie

Jim will throw spinach at me for saying this, but I admit to drinking a lot of diet coke :( But it's not a healthy choice, and while it hasn't stalled me outright, I've had lots of weeks with slower losses that might have been higher if I hadn't been knocking it back so often. Really try to limit it, and if you get stuck, cut it out altogether.

I don't eat SF jelly very often, but if you are having a major sweet craving it's probably better than hitting the chocolate and falling off plan. Keep in mind that your cravings for sweet things will dwindle off soon!

I try to save my cream for sauce making (I make a killer mushroom sauce that fancies up my chicken and pork). All I can suggest is have a little bit once and a while and see if it has any negative effects on your weight loss. What is okay for some people isn't okay for others - we all have a different tolerance level for things like cheese, cream, processed foods... some get stalled and others seem to keep losing anyway.

Lovely to have you with us!

I'd agree with that Sera.
