Question?

Needs to succeed
Hi everyone

I was just wondering if I do SS for 4 weeks, and then AAM week and then change to Slimming World or Weight Watchers, would I put on weight, or would I be able to still lose weight, but at a lower speed than CD?

My reason for asking is that CD costs me nearly £200 a month, and I'm not sure how long I'll be able to afford to continue for.

Thanks in advance

xx

Hiya Carol

Any diet that makes you take in less calories than you burn will ultimately result in weight loss, the only thing is that if you don't do the Cambridge stabilisations and maintenance (what we call 790,1000,1200 and 1500) you will refill your glycogen stores quickly which will make the scales go up BUT it isn't fat you are putting on it is merely a mix of sugar and water. Not sure why Cambridge is costing you £200 a month though, if you were to do say Cambridge 790 which is a very quick and nice weight loss program then it should only be costing you around £135 per month ??? and most people will spend that anyway on food / drink / take aways / meals out etc.

Thanks for your reply. CD costs me so much, because I live in the middle of nowhere, so my CDC has to make a 200 mile round trip to see me and a few others. The Shakes and soups cost £2.10 and the bars are more. I will try to stick to CD for as long as I can afford it, but just wanted to make sure that if I do have to stop before going up the levels, that I wont put all the weight back on.

There must be another CDC closer to you than 100 miles? Have you had a look on the cambridge website?

Not sure about the sw/ww question but i can sympathise with the cost issue as since the prices went up mine will be near on £50 every week, if not more once i start having the bars (i am on 4 packs a day)
