Hi Rainbow! 8lbs lost in a week is great, well done! :)

yeah im so happy for myself i have been really going for it regarding classes at the gym and the gym itself im going to have to keep this up!
good luck to everyone on this eating plan xx

Rach im at the gym every day even twice a day doing either cardio or weights but twice is rare today i did combat which is high intensity boxing and kicking and tmrw im doing spinning which is on class on a bike which i like as well, yesterday i did spin and then body pump at night which is all with weights, im lucky i actually love going to the gym and classes i just let it fall by the way side far to easy and forget how much i like going and how it makes me feel. I started running the last time i managed to loose weight but there is no way i will do that just now my knees couldnt take it i need to loose about 3 stone before i do that.
keep up with the walking though thats good as well.
thanks jules im happy.. im just so happy im getting to loose weight with a diet that includes food and not just shakes and a bar!. :) x

well done :D

I could never stick to the shakes at all, i like me food to much :)

wow cant believe all the exercise you do, its a wonder you get to do anything else in the day with all that.. i bet you sleep well at night after it though!! I would love to so some of the stuff you do, i've heard of spinning and that its supposed to be pretty hard.

For now i will make do with the wii and walking.

I used to be a member of a ladies only gym a couple of years ago and I loved it. It was a struggle to get the motivation to actually go there, but once I was there I remembered why I was doing it - working out makes me feel great! But now I'm at uni, the gym here is for men and women, and I've heard its full of 'roid-heads' (big buff guys who like to pump iron and look like they're on steroids) and I'm a bit scared of them! I'm still embarrassed to be seen puffing and panting and getting all hot and sweaty, so I'm hoping to use the Wii Fit for a while to build up a bit of fitness and see a change in myself from losing weight to build up my confidence to actually join the gym and not care about who sees me. When that time comes, I'm aiming to be at the gym pretty much every day, cos I've seen the results some people have had from mixing Xenical with lots of exercise, and I want those results for myself lol.

I also couldn't deal with shakes and bars, I need proper food to keep me going :)

I've found that investing in an exercise bike is really worth it. I dont like going to the Gym either or having people see me huff and puff, but with an exercise bike at home I can sit there riding away while watching a movie and before I know it I've done the entire time of an almost 2 hour movie or longer...

Im on 6 days off just now so all that will calm down when i get back to work, im on night shift just now so more days off :) i just need to work round my shifts and make the effort if i cant get to the gym i stick my turbo jam or another excersise dvd on. x

I dont think i would fancy going a gym with men their, makes you feel more self conscious for some reason!! I have an exercise bike at home but i tend to get a sore bum after a while :) dont think i would manage 2 hours, the seats are so bloody uncomfortable!! I have decided to leave starting my walking till monday next week when i will have been on the xenical 2 weeks. What do you do on the wii??

At my gym there are loads of muscle men and women but i just go on in there and go for it, who cares what they think really you dont know them but i know what you mean also i used to be the same can you and a friend not go along together? x

any form of exercise is fab i like sticking the ipod on and going for a walk, like the old saying says eat less and move more :) x

I have one friend that already goes to the uni gym, so I could tag along with her, or I was thinking I could just go really early in the morning and it should be quiet cos students are never up early lol. I shouldn't care what they think, but I'm still not quite there yet with the self-confidence thing. I'm working on it though! :)

I use the Wii Fit and EA Sports Active (the first one, not the new one with the heart rate monitor). On the Wii Fit I like the hula hoop, the muscle workouts and the step. The EA Sports Active is my favourite as it creates a 20 minute workout for you which varies each time. It's brilliant, I just need to make sure I use it often lol.

morning girls, you know what emma any thing is better than nothing and if you feel comfortable doing it in your home keep doing that, cause there is nothing worse than being self consious.. i am almost always the biggest by far in my classes and the gym.. not for long!!!!:)
I would love to be able to afford the kinect looks fab.
well ive had my cereal and im off to the gym it should be quiet followed by the power plate, im back to work tonight so need to make the most of it
good luck xx

Oh I don't have a kinect, I have it for the Wii! I have the first version of EA Sports Active, which I think was only released on the Wii until the second version came along (the one with David Beckham on it) and that came out for the Xbox and Playstation, but I'm sticking with my trusty first version cos I can't afford £50 for the new one! It does pretty much the same job lol. I've just ordered the EA Sports Active More Workouts game, which is a 6 week programme, instead of a 30 day programme on the original game. It was only £6.50 on Amazon so I thought I'd give it a try. Can't go wrong really! :)
