My journey on the Cambridge Diet...

I started the Cambridge Diet on 11/01/11 after years of unsuccessful dieting. My first (official) weigh in is tomorrow. I have, however been checking my weight throughout the week to remind myself it was worth it. So far i've lost 8lbs, which i'm really happy about. At 5ft 2 and 14 stones 12lbs I hardly carry the weight well. I must admit, I could of probably lost more than this in my first week. But going from eating Mcdonalds, Curry, Kebabs etc to eating a diet as restricted as this is hard. I did cheat a bit...I had a small bowl of Special K on day 2 and a Twix and piece of bread on day 4. However, i'm still proud that I managed to only have a few hiccups in my first week. A word of advise, I would not reccomend this for someone that is extemely active in their job as the first 4 days are absolute hell!!! Expect severe headaches that a paracetamol won't cure, shaki-ness, feeling of nausea and general weakness/tiredness. Once you enter Ketosis these feelings seem to go away. The hunger however does not. I'm not starving but i'm also never full. I'm on Sole Source+ which I would recommend. Looking forward to some real food (be it only 200 calories) really breaks the day up for me. Well fingers crossed i've maybe lost an extra pound for tomorrow's weigh in! E
 
good luck for tomorrow, it's my first weigh in too,

it's very hard at times doing it but think of the results you will soon see, and you sound just Like me with so many take aways in a week, think of the money you will save x
