please could some one tell me if garlic salt is syn free? also is asda smartprice ham free?

Garlic salt is just garlicky salt isnt it?I would have thought it was free unless it has wheat type stuff in it - have you read the ingredients?
Dont know about the ham, if it s just sliced ham in a packet and doesnt have crumbs or anything added to it then I imagine it will be.

Hey hey, I have often seen garlic salt and thought "Mmm, garlic... and salt... two of my very favourite things combined in a grinder. delicious"

What do you use it on? May have to invest!

Also, a lot of my granny's old recipes speak of "celery salt" but I've never seen it...? Any ideas?

i use garlic salt in my chilli con carne

swartz do celery salt with an orange top and are found with all the other herbs and spices.

Celery salt is lovely in mashed poatoes & also great for seasoning soups

Garlic salt is amazing... i use it when i make a tomatoe based sauce or sometimes i make my own 'garlic' using HE B of bread and some veggie boullin mixed with a bit of water bunged on... if i have some HE's left i bung on the cheese
