I'm on Day 12 now with only one day not being 100%! However, I was in ketosis last week but tested today as I ahve been feeling really hungry the last few days, and I'm now showing that I'm not in K. The only thing I can think that could have done this is my dislike of the soups! I try to stick to one shake, one bar and one soup a day, when I get to the soup though I hardly touch it as it makes me feel so sick!!! Could me not having all the calories be taking me out of ketosis? Or is it normal to go in and out? Or should I not rely on the sticks at all!!!
I think I'm going to have to throw the soups as I dread having them, what a waste though!!! I've got about 15 left!!! Any ideas of what to do with them??
 
Best idea is to throw out the ketostix... some people NEVER show as being in ketosis thought clearly they must be. Theyre notoriously unreliable. If youve been following the plan properly you WILL be in ketosis.

If you cant stomach the soups youll need to have an extra shake a day, you shouldnt cut back to 2 a day - you need 3
 
Have to disagree with you on this one Sandy. I dont get into ketosis when on Exante at all. Its just too high a level of carbs for me.

You do have to have your 3 packs a day though. Nothing to do with the carbs or calories - but from a purely nutritional point of view.
 
I dont get bad breath, Im always hungry and I certainly dont get any energy bursts. Before Exante I did Atkins so I do find it quite easy to tell the difference between being in it and not being in it.
 
Thats the main reason Ive switched to WW. It was just getting too hard to keep going. I might go back to Atkins in a couple of weeks thoughcoz Im fed up counting everything already, lol.
 
I’m on day 7 and don’t think I’ve been in ketosis once as I’ve had a few days where I’ve had a small amount of carbs. For me, staying on board is the main thing, My calorie in take has still been low enough to lose weight, and the carbs I have are only ever small amounts. I’ve lost 6 pounds in 7 days so I’m happy with that. If my weight loss does slow down too much, I might try ketosis. But if I carry on to lose each week and still have a few treats, then I’m not ready to punish myself in order to loose the weight quicker. Steady and consistent rather than drastic !! xx
 
I'm really lucky that I slip into K quite easily so have huge respect for people who struggle getting there and have a hard time getting there.
