Hi all,

After looking through all the diets and there pros and cons ive decided on weight watchers, but i was thinking of just eating 2 bowls of special k and 1 WW dinner, and maybe buying some of the weight watchers biscuits or something as i seem to crave something sweet after a meal?? Do i have to join the weight watchers groups or can me and my boyfriend just do it ourselves? we have a chart made up and were going to weigh eachother and write it up so that there is no cheating and we can incourage eachother :D I have a problem with my stomach anyway it seems im allergic to most food which makes me throw up but it comes and goes, last summer i lost 3 1/2 stone through trying but mostly through being sick after every meal and drink (even water ) but it has been gone now for the last few months and the weight just piled back on :( i love special k and dont seem to have a problem when i eat them and ive had a few of the ww meals and they were nice, not very big but i suppose that comes down to portion size.

What do you all think is myway okay or should i really do it the proper way?

TBH 2 bowls of Special K and 1 WW meal is not enough food in the day at all. Your body won't get he nutrients it needs...

To do the new pro points plan you will need to go to a meeting to find out how many points your on... and it really is a good program. If your motivated you could do the program at home and there are various apps you can use to track your calories or points etc. But def eat more than Special K and WW meals.

My advice would be to go to one meeting get weight and learn about the program and how much food you should be eating.

That's still unlikely to give your body enough nutrition. Sure, if you hardly eat anything, you'll lose some weight. But you will be starving your body and you will damage your health. It will be unsustainable and when you do eat normally, you will put weight on.
From what you've said, I think it would be a good idea if you went to a meeting or two, just to get an understanding about healthy eating. Once you've got that, it's perfectly achievable to follow WW by yourself

if you cant get to a meeting then you could buy a starter pack from ebay that way you can work the points out to the foods you like also theres an online calculator that you can use to see how many points you should be on.
WeightWatchers Daily ProPoints Target Calculator

O right thanks for your advice, ill have to find our local meetings or check out ebay, i deff dont want to lose and then put back on!

Yeh filling up with extra fruit or veg would be good.... as a guide when trying to lose weight you should eat about 1300cals a day.... if you eat too little your body goes into starvation mode and can start storing water and fat in your body hence preventing healthy weight loss. The website www.weightwatchers.co.uk should tell you where your local class is...
