I'm moving over from the dark side (Slimming World). ;) I lost 2 1/2 stone but I've gained a stone back and I feel unmotivated on SW. I want a change and I've heard the new WW plan is good. If I join online, will it explain the plan adequately to me? I could join a class but I'd prefer not to because I don't drive and the classes near me aren't on at suitable times.

Thank you! :D

Hi there I'm in same boat no car and classes are too far I love the online tools love the tracker and the community board there. U cam do it alone by buying a diary and doing it ya self but I prefer to do it online and 30 for 3 months isn't bad xx

U can always swap to a monthly pass if in 2 weeks u think ohh i defo need a class xx

Thank you for the reply. I don't mind spending the money. I'd prefer to go to a meeting but the times don't really suit me. I'll give it a whirl online and see how it goes. ;)

I only do it online. Went to the initial meeting and felt i got nothing of any benefit from it, just a lot of waiting around. It's quite simple especially if you're new to ww as you're only used to the new plan.

Just watch out if you're buyin their food at the moment as the changeover is only just happening and some stuff is marked at old points (as a rough guide just double them).

I think ww is, with the new plan, sw with portion control which suits me perfect. Fruit and most veg are free (not sweetcorn peas potato or parsnip) x

good luck to you all. i have to see what i will do..my problem is i am limited abit with money..i think i would like to go to meetings [at least until i know the plan and i feel i am able to stick to it..i am so greedy though]but don't know if i can afford the cost. i will have to see

good luck

Stupid, if you go through topcashback (http://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/justme), and click on weight watchers through there, you'll get £30 cashback for joining (it takes months to come back to you and it can't be guaranteed but if it works it means you get your 3 month membership for free). That's for the online weight watchers. You can lose a fair bit of weight healthily in 3 months though...

Rkmriddell I noticed ure doing the 30 day shred how is that going xx

It's only day two but going well! The workout is tough but manageable as it's varied and is only 20 mins or so. I can feel aches in my body but not too bad. Day 3 tonight. Are you giving it a go? We have a challenge going somewhere - 30 days for ten lbs and one dress size x

I just bought a new work our game for the wii so im gonna give that a go but I might have to download that 30 day shred xx

I signed up online a few weeks ago and i have found it great, in fact i'm 100% for the first time in about a year trying different diets. I signed up via quidco and got £30 cashback so its basically free for 3 months and can't really argue with that, i iphone/ipod app is brilliant too (not for hubby because i keep stealing his phone :D )

I just joined online, and it works out wayyyyy cheaper than meetings, specially with the new deal on
£29 start up fee and £32 for 3 months, less the £32, £10.95 per month after the initial 3.
Don't know about the UK, but it costs 20 euros to join a meeting and 10 to go each week, 5 if you miss one....so, WAY cheaper online, plus the tracker is so easy, it has all the shopping food in it already, so I rarely have to do maths.
