A mans clothes tale

Seeing as all I ever seem to read on here is women (rightfully so) bragging about dropping dress sizes, here is my own victory today.

Managed to buy an off the peg pair of jeans from Next, previously have had to rely on my trips to America to get the jeans I wanted.

Odd that one of the pairs I tried on were button fly, but they had no buttons - thought it might have been some sort of new fashion I had missed out on but the assistant assured me they were faulty :D

Well done Lee - that is fab.

I know that being able to buy clothes from regular shops was a real milestone for me - and remember don't go crazy and buy too many new clothes as it won't be long before you will be needing to buy the next size down!!!!

Hi, its great to be able to shop in 'normal' shops for us gals, and im sure for the fellas out there too..
My hubby has gone down so many sizes its brilliant, cant complain i guess, the bank manager may..lol

Well done to you both

Thanks, off to New York for New Years Eve, saving my cash until then !

Ooh that's such a great feeling isn't it! I remember the first time I tried on a pair of jeans in a 'normal shop' and they fitted I was like this :bliss: :bliss: :bliss:

Well done! Onwards and downards :D

Well done. I read your post out to my husband - he's been losing weight too and until a week or to ago he could only get the jeans he liked in the US - we'd come back weighted down with denim. He's just into a size 38 waist and he's really pleased with himself too. I've told him that's not a good enough excuse not to go to NY anymore, or else :D

Well done Lee, it's such a great feeling

I remember the first time I bought a pair of jeans in George (Asda), I wanted to hijack the customer services tannoy and announce it to the world!!

Well done Lee - just one of the many rewards you'll be reaping for sticking with the plan :)
