Hey
Does anyone know what you would point Fairy Cake Buns at?

I made some at the weekend and really want to eat them but unsure what to point them at!

I make cupcakes quite regularly and find the points can vary quite wildly. It really depends on how much of each ingredient was used. Do you have the recipe? If so I'd be happy to put it into the eSource recipe builder and tell you how much the points are per cake. :)
 
dont have the book with me but from memory 90% certain its:

4oz self raising flour
4oz butter (I think)
4oz Caster sugar
2 eggs
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
3/4 tablespoons milk

For topping though i didnt do it for all them
2oz butter
4oz icing sugar

Okay I've put everything in you've said (using semi skimmed milk and medium eggs) and I've had to change to grams since thats what eSource uses. I've calculated 4oz of things at 114g so hope this is accurate (well Google calculated it ;))

Assuming you got 12 cupcakes out of it, they were 6pp each. I'd leave some wiggle room - particularly since I had to convert and you didn't ice them all. :)
