I KEEP SMELLING TASTING AND DREAMING OF FOOD. MAKING MY CHILDRENS DINNER OMG IT WAS SO HARD TONIGHT AND ALL I HAVE TO DO IT PUT IT IN THE MICROWAVE THEN PUT IT IN A BOWL BUT GOT SOME ON MY FINGERS AND I KNOW IT SOUNDS SILLY BUT I WAS SO UPSET CAUSE I REALLY STRUGGLED NOT TO LICK IT OFF. I WIPED IT AWAY BUT IT TOOK ME A GOOD 3 MINS TO MAKE THAT CHOICE BUT I AM SO PROUD I DID BUT HOW TO DO ANOTHER 9 MONTHS OF THAT IS GONNA BE HARD WORK:cry:

It is gonna be hard work but so so worth it! I too and counting down the days but i dont think i should be. some of the ppl on here suggested breaking it into smaller goals so ive listed a few and no that i have to reach the first more acheivable goal and then the next and so on and so forth.
Chin up we can do it :) x

Hi yes i am thinking of mini goals but i keep fogetting to put them down haha so i will put them at the bottom of this. I was reading your goals and i hope you do them as they look good.

mini goals

1 be back to my start weight of ll in sept 09
2 get into a size 28
3 stick to cd for longer than 16 weeks
4 be able to stand on a wii fit board again
5 start using my wii fit again
6 get down to a size 22

thank you. i think it really helps and when we can tick them off we will feel amazing

u'll get there in no time this diet is fab!!!!

I did lighter life sept 09 and lost 6 stone by jan 10 so i know it works it just takes sometime but i guess if i went for my gastric bypass it would take double the time. So fingers crossed i will be lovely by sept when my eldest starts school :)

It will be hard you are right, but you need to believe in yourself more! You made the right choice today and I hope you're really proud of yourself. The time will fly by :)

You need to look at the time in smaller chunks. Have you set any goals yet? I have silly ones like fit in a dress I've never been able to wear and things like that haha.

It's early days yet so don't worry! Personally I find the start the hardest but like any routine you'll soon get used to it and when the pounds are melting away you'll be happy out :D Think short term and long term will mind itself!

it will all become 2nd nature to you soon. not licking your fingers is a classic and also needing to smell stuff even though you can't eat it will happen.

It will also really help if you focus on what you have achieved and how well you have done rather than how long its going to be etc. I don't mean that to sound horrid - I Wish Goreygirl was back on here she gave me some really sound advise in the early days on how good (or bad) an effect our words can have and about how much harder we make it for ourselves if we put everything in a negative way and that we should focus on the positive. You are doing so well especially with not licking your fingers etc - I know I found that really difficult - didn't realise how much I was nibbling til the first week when I had to stop!

How many packs a day do you have?

If on 3 why not go up to 4, with skimmed milk allowance- I keep saying it, but coffee really helps me x

Hang in there Herts -- you can do this!

@Great Things -- bmi 24 and almost at goal! How exciting and inspirational. Yeah you!

@Mrs Taurus... I grew up in Seattle the Home of Starbucks: I can live without food, but not without coffee. LOL

hey thanks all for your advice. i am on 3 packs and 200ml of milk already. its the best part of my day is my milk allowance lol. i leave it till i have got the children in bed then get it and make it last a good 15 minutes so i can savour it till next night haha.
