It consists of

A bag of mixed chopped carrot and swede from asda
Chopped Onion
1 pint of veg stock made form 2 stock cubes
Chopped garlic
Salt, Pepper and Coriander

Add all ingredients to a big saucepan, bring to boil then simmer for twenty mins!
Blend and voila!!

Its beautiful!

ah yes.. I make something similar and I call it my "what's left in the fridge?" soup..
this time it was carrots, parsnip, leeks, cabbage, tin of passata, tin of canelini beans, 2 stock cubes, 4 cloves of garlic, 1 red pepper and enough water to cover it in the slow cooker for 4-5 hours on high..

yes it sounds a bit like the one I used to make but I called it my carrott and coriander one. I used to spice up the flavour a bit and add some worcester sauce or tabasco sauce. yum yum

I also did this with the leek and potato soup pack from Asda. It was really lovely BUT it does say on the back it contains sulphur dioxide so may be an allergen for some (hubby for one). You also cant freeze it or re heat so I had to eat the lot myself quickly before it became cold! It was very filling too! Pity you cant re heat or freeze though.

Hollys nan, I didnt know you couldnt re heat this, iv done it a few times and never had any problems with it. Yummy with a splash of Worcester sauce

I think they may say this as it contains sulphur dioxide. So what I did yesterday I just bought a leek, peeled a spud and poured some ready chopped onions into 1 litre of veg stock with two veg cubes boiled it up like the recipe on the leek and pot soup pack, then whizzed it with the hand blender, it was gorgeous and I re heated it later for tea. Was quite full afterwards.
