This is it!

Hi everyone, I joined the site yesterday and it's been a good read. I'm hoping to lose 9 stone and have never been so motivated. Had several sessions of hypnotherapy at the end of last year, the hypnotherapist advised that there was something from the past that would've triggered my food habits. Anyway, wasn't very nice and had 3 weight loss sessions at the end. Ended up eating more, i was so upset then weirdly just before Christmas I lost my appetite and food didn't excite me anymore. Didn't eat my Christmas cheese board (unheard of!) and even did a pregnancy test it was so strange! Anyway that feeling is still there so have started this week on a low calorie diet. Doc has prescribed xenical rather than me doing the Cambridge diet, so will give it a whirl. Can imagine I'll be on here a lot!

Hiah, it's sounds like you've already been on a powerful journey of self discovery just to get here. I'm pleased that you're so motivated too as I know from myself if my heads not in the right place I won't do it. I'm hoping my head will stay in gear for the rest of my life now as I don't want to ever be referred to again as a larger lady. I'm actually a skinny person in the wrong body. I'm doing SW this time as it has worked for me in the past. I did Cambridge for a week years ago and lost 12lbs but was so miserable as it was a week of barbeques, typical! Xenical is great for getting you on track as deviations have side effects are you aware of those yet lol. Anyway, good luck on your journey hun Lisa

Hi, Im doing the Low Cal diet too, which I love ive lost 22lbs so far and you still can eat nice food,

I before found I didnt eat breakfast and only a small lunch and huge dinner, this was my downfall, Now on the low cal diet I seem to be eating all day just to make sure im getting my proper amount of calories in,

So good Luck and wish you all the best it can be done.

Thanks everyone, I've had a good day today. Went for a brisk hour long walk and took the kids to a fun pool this afternoon and spent 2 hours bouncing my 2 & 3 yr old around, paying for it now though my back is killing. East activity though and we all enjoyed it. Just need to keep busy tonight so as not to pick!!

I know what you mean. I'm at home alone this evening and wondering whether I should just have an early night as the urge to keep looking in the fridge is upon me argggghhh! xx
