Someone please help me, i'm not sure where to start. I've just been to my first weigh in and i'm not too sure what i'm meant to be doing.

SW have advised i do the extra easy for four weeks to start and see how I get on with that. Fine. I can do that.

But I dont understand - if i eat as much as i want - how am i meant to lose weight? I'm meant to eat 1/3 rd of free foods - veggies etc - which i do any way but i can have AS much of a big platefull as I want? then i have to balance that out with another two thirds of FREE foods - meat/potato's?

if i can eat as much as i want how am i meant to lose weight?

If I can have as many free and super free foods as i want - then what is the difference? surely they're all either free or super free?

I'm so confused, standing on the scales has put me on a massive downer and i just dont know where to start getting my head around this flippin' diet.

SOMEONE help me PLEASE!

Have a look at the sticky's in the main forum for newbies and about the EE plan which should answer a lot of questions. I would suggest that as you've been to class and have all the literature you need to spend some time reading it thoroughly and to familiarise yourself with the plan and keep the faith - it does work if you stick to it! Good luck.

Hi Jisboz, sorry to hear that your first week hasnt gone as you would have hoped

You seem to be a bit confused between super and free food. On extra easy, you have 1/3 of your plate with the super foods ie fruits & vegies with the remaining food being from the free food list. You dont balance the amount of free food with the amount of super free you have on your plate. A third is a guide, you can have a 1/2 if you want. This is a way of reducing your calorie intake whilst still leaving you satisfied.

Remember that you should eat until you feel satisifed not until you are stuffed and cant move (tempting as it is sometimes lol) I believe in snacks coming from the super food list first ie choose an apple in preference to a something from the free food list.

Have a read of this, its a very clear guide to new commers and I hope it will answer some of your questions.

Hope thats been of help, you wont be the only one to struggle in the first week, but it does suddenly click - good luck
