Things i can freeze in bulk!!!

Hiya everyone!

Just wondering if anyone has any recipes for things i can freeze in bulk...e.g bolognase, chilli etc..

Any good pasta sauce recipes (free on green?)

I have a demanding 1 year old and often making everything from scratch all the time just isnt quick enough!!!

Pretty much anything will be okay to freeze - the only thing you need to be wary of is RF dairy stuff

So stews\chill\bolognese\curry\tomato based sauces will all freeze well

If you had a curry with added yoghurt I would freeze it first and add the yoghurt when you reheat it

Still looking for any syn free recipes!!

I'm new to SW so forgive me if I get this wrong, I think this is syn free but feel free to correct me, please

Use fry light to fry 2 red onions, chopped garlic (I sometimes put a squidge of the puree in instead) and some bacon strips (with the fat removed of course) and then add 2 tins of chopped tomato, a couple of table spoons of tomoto puree and a splash of soy sauce to taste. I sometimes throw in a bit of chilli powder too.

When it's bubbling throw in some already cooked pasta shapes and simmer for 5 mins. Voila, tis done!

It's really easy to cook, no messing about with weighing or measuring. It's great for using up bits and bobs, sometimes I use chicken instead of bacon and I sometimes pad it out by putting peas or sweetcorn in it.

I usually cook a big pan of it by doubling up the ingredients and then portioning it up and freezing it.

The tomatoe puree would have low syns but depending on portion size, it might be too small to count

Welcome to the newbies, sounds like a big recipe so like Josie said, probably negligible sins. Sounds good too think I will try it. I keep meaning to have a 'cook day' and freeze up a lots of quick meals as I, too, sometimes struggle with time. Anything else you find, please share!

All the recipes on here are low syn or syn free so probably best just to go browsing or do a search if you want a particular dish
