1st ever food plan diary

Hello everyone,

This is my first ever food diary. I am following GREEN! Please do tell me if i have made mistakes as im still learning about SW.

This is just a "rough" guide to what im planning on having.

Day 1:

Breakfast -

Milk (HEA)
28g Ready Brek with Berries (HEB 1/2)
1 Ryvita with chopped banana (HEB 1/2)

Drink - Tea (with milk 0.5syn)

Lunch -

Small jacket potato with Cheese (HEA2) and beans. Salad.

Snack - Fruit
Drink - N.A.S squash and water

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5 syn)

Dinner -

Salmon (HEB2) (cooked in frylight) Peppers, green veg and lemon and garlic cous cous.

Pudding - Fruit

Drink - 2x tea (1syn milk)

Syn total - 2

Day 2:


Breakfast -

Scrambled egg (made with milk HEA)
2xWholemeal toast (HEB)

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5 syn)

Snack: 2x Jaffa cake (5 syns)

Lunch-

Egg, SW chips and beans

Drink - Tea (Milk 0.5syn)

Dinner -

Roast pork (HEB2) Veg and gravy (4syn)

Drink - Tea (0.5 milk syn)

Syn total - 10.5

Day 3:

Breakfast - Fruit

Drink - Tea (0.5 milk syn)

Lunch - Cheese (HEA) salad and mayo (to replace butter/spread 2syns) sarnie, wholemeal bread x2 (HEB)

Drink - Tea (0.5 milk syn)
1 alpen bar (3syn)

Dinner -

Balsamic glazed chicken (HEB2) with Paprika wedges

Pudding -
Muller light yogurt

Drink - 2x tea (0.5 milk syn)

Syn total - 7

Day 4:

Breakfast -

All bran (HEB) + fruit
Milk (HEA)

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)

Lunch - 4x Ryvita (HEB2) 3xDairylea triangles (HEA2)

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)
1x Alpen bar (3syn)

Dinner -


SW Chips, egg and beans

Pudding -
Fruit and Muller light yogurt

Drink - 2xTea (milk 1syn)

Syn total - 5


Day 5:

Breakfast -


Ready brek (HEB) +fruit
Milk (HEA)


Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Lunch -

roasted veg and Garlic and lemon cous cous with sliced chicken breast (HEB2) with salad and mayo (2 syns)


Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Dinner -

Pasta and jar of WW tomato sauce (4syn?), cheese (HEA)

Pudding -
Fruit

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)

Syn total - 6

Day 6:


Breakfast -

Boiled egg with 1 slice of wholemeal toast (HEB1/2)

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Lunch -


Cheese (HEA) on toast (HEB1/2)
Fruit
1x Alpen bar (3syns)

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Dinner -


Cod (HEB2), sw chips and salad


Pudding -
Fruit and muller light yogurt


Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Syn total - 5


Day 7:


Breakfast -



Fruit and Muller light yogurt


Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Lunch -


2x Ryvita (HEB) 2 dairylea triangles (HEA) and salad

Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Dinner - Couscous and cannellini bean burger and salad, wholemeal roll (HEB2)


Drink - Tea (milk 0.5syn)


Syn Total - 2


Wow, that took ages to write out!! Fingers crossed its ok!!!



 
Let me know how the Balsamic Chicken and Paprika Wedges come out...sounds yummy :)
You may want to look for the Ryvita Wholegrain Crackerbread as you can have 6 of those as a HEB.
Also make sure you have plenty of water and use your syns or superfree food if you still feel hungry. Veggie soups are great too for those days when you don't know what to cook and need something quick.

How do you make the wedges?
Also - just incase you didn't know (noticed you like alpen bars) you can have two alpen light bars as 1 HEB :) x

If i had 2 alpen bars as my HEB, how would i then calculate meat? Infact, how do you work out the syn value of something? Im due to be going out for dinner next week to a mexican restaurant and just KNOW there are gonna be many syns used up lol!! x

Cut potatoes into 1/4 length ways and parboil. Spray frylight in a baking tray and add wedges to the tray after draining. Sprinkle with some paprika and put in oven for 30 mins!
