First time I have gained

Well, I have gained half a pound. First time I have gained as always had a loss. Feel gutted and I know it sounds pathetic. Didn't want to go to weigh in as my scales said it would be a 2.5lb loss!!!
Anyway I will carry on even though I feel like beans on toast with butter and thick white bread!!!
Feel really bloated but not due my period yet so not sure why!!
As they say....carry on regardless.....with a bit of Sid James's laugh added on......xxx:(

Don't beat yourself up, it's only half a pound - that could be something as simple as an overdue wee or wearing a different top on the scales!!

Next week you'll probably find you have a good loss!

Damn...wished I'd of had a poo!!!
Thanks for your support.....I am one of those pathetic people who see it as a failure....yet I am the first to support anyone else!!!!
Funny aren't we...us people

I'm the same - always beat myself up if I have a tiny gain, and I know it's always that poo i didn't do before getting on the scales!

know how you feel in 20 odd weeks on plan Christmas week was my first gain and I was gutted with 2.5lb's - but hey ho, it was christmas.

TrickyTree - you are not the only one. I haven't had a gain yet but I dread the day and hate it when I gain mid week (especially when I've stuck to plan). You have done brilliantly and this isn't a race. You will get there.

However, please note that I am also good at giving advice to others and will be equally 'pathetic' (although that's not what I feel you are doing !) when my first gain happens. I will be back here looking for your support in return then !!!

Good luck for this week.

Dont let a small gain get you down hun. To have lost every single week until now is an amazing achievement and you should feel so proud.
And yes the sw rules before weigh in for me are always....
a wee and swp

I got to 25 weeks before my first gain, and I was part  and part relieved that it had happened as my consultant began tacking on 'x amount of weight lost with no gains', when reading out my weekly loss and I did start to feel the pressure.

Target members are allowed 3lbs either side of the target weight to allow for normal fluctuations. So what happens to us losers? Does our weight automatically not fluctuate because we are dieting - course it doesn't :D Which is why sometimes you get an undeserved gain or even an undeserved loss.

Just keep going, you are doing brilliantly :D
