Thats brilliant - thanks very much x

On EE you take whichever is the lowest of the red and green syn values - so the values given for the green plan here also apply to EE

does anyone know if the aromatic thai one is 1/2 syn too?

nope,

Aromatic Thai Style Couscous, excluding oil & butter, 100g pack green/EE 2 syns

Looks like all the syn values have gone up on the ainsley cous cous's all looks to be 2/2.5/3 syns

damn, i knew it was too good to be true, typically, ive just made one up!! Still, it was that or some french fries crisps. so its lower than them and far more filling

Least you saved 2 syns by not having the french fries :)

I was quite confused by this because i group we were told that Ainsley Harriet cous cous was free!
But now im goin it alone I looked at my app and it states that it has a syn value !
Better start counting it!
Which is the lowest syn one?

Tomato is 1, Moroccan medley, 1.5. They are the lowest ones.

Thanks Ally, thats a big help, I know which ones to stock up on now, although that thai one does sound nice if i want to push the boat out!!

Just says 100g pack online, not cooked weight.

They do now say "excluding oil & butter, 100g pack ", the syn value is for the whole pack. It used to be per 100g cooked like kt_baybeh said at the top of this thread, but now it's

Sun-dried Tomato & Garlic Couscous, excluding oil & butter, 100g pack

I think the values on the actual packet are misleading, the actual packet calories must be per 100g cooked, even though it doesn't say that. As according to MFP 100g dry cous cous (with nothing added) is about 356 calories per 100g which is way more than what the AH pack is saying per 100g. If you run the NV's through the calculator using cous cous as free you get ½ Syn per package on Extra Easy which is what the old values were.

The new SW online syns are for the whole packet rather than per 100g cooked like they used to be, which is the reason they have gone up (I mean c'mon, who weighs 100g of the packet out after its cooked? ) Its a lot easier to just know the syns for the entire packet. :)
