Question about online membership

Hey

So i joined slimming world a while ago, lost a stone then had to leave due to lack of time and money. Now I can afford it but not sure I have time for meetings.

Does anyone know how the online only membership differs to the normal online access you get when you go to group? Also, if you join online can you ever attend groups?

New year, hopefully try again at loosing weight!

Thanks :)

I am an online member and I don't think you can go to group - really I think the main thing you get is the online food diary and access to the syns information, so I don't mind paying for it for that, but I also think it would be quite easy to do it yourself especially as most people on here are happy to help with syn values etc.

Hi Rachy,

The sites used to be different but now they are the same site for group members and online members. You get everything that you can get if you go to class (both web access and group support) but if you do it online you just get access. I don't think you can go to class as well if you're doing it online but you can transfer your membership from online to group part way through if you want to (I saw it in the FAQ's recently). I think the decision depends on you. I love the online site and would never have gone to group when I started this but I know that some people need the motivation of going to a group and love the support that it gives you. Also, you can't get HiFi bars online

Anyway, good luck with whatever you decide.
