Ok everyone is having a hard time, what with January blues and getting back on after Christmas so I want to know what have you noticed since you lost weight? What you positives are? X
the biggest thing is that i feel normal, i look normal and i am a normal weight. this is the first xmas i've been normal lol. the lowest xmas ever. this makes me feel amazing as i haven't gone into a place feeling out of place because of my weigh, nor have i thought of myself as a pig cause i was overweight and indulging in the nice xmas stuff. i have taken time out, come off diet and indulged but at least in my own mind people can't say 'look at her eating all of that when she needs to loose weight'. also got into some fab 14 next jeans today
I also feel normal and I don't feel paranoid everywhere I go. I defeinitely look people in the eye more and everyone says I smile more. I can also cross my legs also and wear high heels..yay!! I always be grateful that I found CD because it has changed my life.
I can see my collar bones and the dipped bits on my shoulders .. cannot stop feeling them !!
I can bend over all the way without my tummy getting in the way
I can lie and bed and actually feel my ribs and my hip bones
I can run around after the kids
I can take the kids to the park and fit on the swings and the little boingy things
I can take the kids to soft play and go down the slides
I can go to alton towers and not worry about fitting in the rides ....
I can buy clothes that I actually like and not that just cover everything ..... I have found my own style and can go into any shop and not feel out of place !
I actually enjoy walking now as well. Don't get me wrong, if I ever go out on a hike, shoot me as I've prob lost the plot, but enjoying taking my 9 month old out for walks
I can't wait to be able to contribute to this post, because I am at the stage of noticing what the weight gain has done.....mainly knocked my self-esteem and self-respect into the ground.
