Wii Fit Routines

I've just got a wii fit for christmas (yay) and am wondering what sort of routines I should do on it, rather than just idly picking and choosing things to do? I like so far the rhythm boxing, hula hoop and the yoga... need to lose weight and tone up and the whole caboodle really. Who does what and for how long? x

when i used to use my wii i dis muscle workouts first, then boxing, hula hoop, then a bit of stretching on the yoga.

i used to go on it between 30 mins to 2 hours a day

Thanks gina! Been on it today 35 mins in total some muscle workouts, rhythm boxing, cycling, jogging and step. Knackered now hehe x

i normally someting to warmme up first like step plus - then I do muscle workouts like bicep, lunges, jackknife, then abit of yoga, then some jogging & balance games to warm me bk down again - usually go on for about 45mins a day xx

I've made myself a yoga routine that lasts for 22 mins,, and I'm going to try and do it every day. I haven't done it for over a fortnight, and I can really tell. Depending on how I feel, I sometimes run round the island, or I'll do 30 mins of step from EA sports active more workouts, it's harder than the Wiifit one. I have a few different games so I mix and match.

Congratulations on getting a wii fit. It's great fun to exercise this way, especially for someone like me that finds going to the gym a trial.

In the morning, I warm up with 2 or 3 wii fit yoga stretches, then do advanced step for about 30 mins. I mute the TV and listen to the radio or music, then I do about 2 or 3 reps of advanced hula hoop.
I then have a break for at least 10 mins, but could be several hours depending of how much time I have free.

I also use The Biggest Loser Ultimate for about 30 mins, but if I am feeling low on energy, I do more wii fit with 2-3 different yoga stretches, then 3-4 different muscle exercies, like lunge, etc.
I then do the cycling - island course, plus boxing, golf swing practice, boxing and rythmn kung fu. (some of these are on the Training plus) for another 40 mins.
I have a break and if I have time I will do a couple of balance games like penguin slide, then more advanced step.
I aim for just over 400 calories a day (the chocolate bar) which I think is around 410.
I love the step and island cycling so I might do a little more of this if I have time. I do most of my exercises, except boxing and kung fu with the mute on the TV while I listen to something else.
I also do "Just Dance" for some fun, although my scores are hopeless on this. I add this to my fitcash.
It seems to work because I lost 10lbs in 8 weeks, without dieting. I am hoping for greater losses now I have started the diet.

Can you fit another TV in the room where it is easiest to exercise? If so, see if there are any going free on freecycle in your area. I use my wii free on a small TV and it's fine.
