Missed my weigh in!

Passiflora

Dasvidaniya FAT & FLAB!!
Between my car and my lack of brain cells, I've missed my weigh in!!

Car broke down on Monday, so had arranged to have the garage come and pick it up from work this morning to be fixed, but also had the pre-arranged weigh in at 8.30 this morning too. It wasn't until around midnight last night that I realised what I'd done!!

So, it's been put back until Monday - but with two Christmas Do's between now and then, it's going to be unlikely that I can use the extra days to lose more weight!! Still, here hoping!

Oh - and the car's an expensive fix!!

Good luck with the weigh in and car fixing too.

I had my weigh in yesterday after a very heavy night out -lots of bubbly! I have lost 32lbs in total by dr's calculations so she was very pleased. She has given me a repeat prescription and I now don't need to see her until the end of March!

Wow - that's brilliant!! I bet you feel so much better now!!

What would you say you have changed most foodwise and what is your lifesaving food?

I really haverd noticed the difference and do feel so much better - have also joined the gym which has really energised me!

My carb intake is a lot lower. Breakfast is still porridge but lunch and dinner are usually now chicken/fish/prawn stir fry or casserole both with plenty of veg. No family sized desserts inbetween meals or even after anymore!

My appitite has certainly decreased and I feel like I'm more in control but only really felt that the last week or so. I went out for my husbands work party and because I had so much bubbly to drink could only mamnager my starter and a bit of both my main meal and dessert. Pre olrlistat I could have eaten the whole lot twice over without any problem.

I did just start doing ww again last week but bought a calculator from ebay and will do it on my own as they have had enough of my money over the years! On the new plan carbs have a much higher point value than they used to whereas lean protein is low so it's the way of eating I have got used to.

totally agree with you about WW having enough of our hard earned money over the years!! Having said that, I think I'll be going back to WW in the new year though, to keep my mum company, but I'm not so sure she'll be happy with the new system, it seems a rather convaluted way to work out pro-points etc. Not only that, I've got scales and cook books galores for WW, all based around the old points!! Ebay is great for good WW bargains!! I think there maybe a few good deals on WW food these next couple of weeks as the new branded food will be out in the new year. I love the Chicken and lemon risotto. Lovely with a toasted pitta bread!

Like you, I've also joined a gym, and I actually enjoy it! Never in a million years did I ever think I would ever say those words! Even managed to get some time in the gym whilst on holiday - now that's unheard of!

I've got our works Christmas Do part II this evening, I've been told what food is available this evening, and considering I'm sat here starving, it's not looking terribly hopeful for me - no nil point soup for me to glug down before I go :( still, as I'm driving tonight, I'm hoping that I keep my wits about me when it comes to food choices!

You used the phrase "I'm more in control", I think that's what I'm still lacking. I don't want to start saying "oh, wait until the New Year" yet, I know it's not far off, but it doesn't take me long to start slipping into old ways!

I can see me hanging around on here a lot over Christmas, especially when hubby is working, anything to stop the Christmas Film + Chocolate hours!!
