Hi,

I'm new here & new to Slimming World.

I have never enjoyed cooking & so I have little idea of recipes & making things from scratch .

I've decided to follow the Extra Easy Diet Plan & for dinner tomorrow I have planned to make a Chicken Stir Fry.

I have looked online for sauces, only most contain sugar and so I was wondering if somebody here could help me how to make a low fat sauce for a Chick Stir Fry & also one for a Beef Stir Fry.

Thanks in advance :)

I got a gorgeous recipe from here for Singapore style noodle stir fry. If you use the search option, you should find it.

Thank you, only I can't seem to find it , I'm not used to these forums. I entered it into search and I've been scanning the Chinese threads.

Am I in the right direction ?

just marinade your meat in some soy sauce with a little fresh ginger and fresh garlic, should be plenty for a nice flavour for your stir fry.

we love stir fry and normally have it once a week with either beef, prawns or chicken. stir frying is quick so first prepare everything.
so cut up your chicken, chop an onion, chop a couple of cloves of garlic, a couple of peppers and some mushrooms(you can use other veg like a pack of stir fry veg)

using fry light fry chicken and set aside.
then add more fry light and cook your onions & garlic, then add mushrooms and peppers.
add the cooked chicken back in

then your choices... soy sauce is syn free (we have used this lately)
OR blue dragon stir fry sauces for convenience. they are 120g sachets and serve 2.

therefore a few choices are below for the full packet so remember to half the amount.
blackbean sauce - 5.5 syns (this is nice with beef)
chow mein sauce - 6
Hoi Sin & Garlic - 9
Spicy Szechuan Tomato - 7.5 (one of my favs)
Sweet & Sour - 6,5 (i find this too sweet now)
Teriyaki - 6.5 (this is nice with prawns)

anyway hope this helps - depending one what you pick (soy sauce only - free) or blue dragon (the options above vary between 3 -4.5 syns per portion). they are more higher syns but didnt list them as normal ones we pick are above.

just realised this msg was about what u were having for dinner yest. oh well a bit late now haha
