Hello again!

Passiflora

Dasvidaniya FAT & FLAB!!
Well, we're back from our holidays, and we had a fabulous time!! If ever you want to visit a little corner of Germany, I can thoroughly recommend Schliersee in Bavaria, such a lovely place, very friendly people, and lots of cafes and Christmas Markets which means..... Gluwhein, Bratwursts, more Gluwhein, fancy Konditorie's (cake shops) fnacy chocolate, more bratwursts...... you get the picture!!

Obviously, being in a foreign land and knowing how they work regarding public toilets, (or lack of them) I had to make some choices

a. Eat,drink and be merry, sod the diet and tablets and go for it.
b. Still enjoy myself thoroughly, watch what I ate to an extent, lay of the tablets because "you just never know what may happen"
c. Be extremely strict with myself and determined to lose weight.

Well I went for the B option, which entailed of cafes with hot chocolates and a spoonful (or two!) of hubby's delicious cakes, sensible choices at mealtimes, taking full advantage of the resort's gym and swimmingpool (yes, for the first time I used a gym whilst on holiday!), walked around gorgeous frozen lakes in the snow, walked around Christmas markets, danced and sang around Salzburg (do ray me etc etc!) and the result...

I lost a pound!!:553:

I'm so pleased that I had a fantastic time away, yes the food was a big thing this holiday, but thanks to my choices and exercise, my holiday continued into Sunday after getting on the scales!! I told hubby on Sunday that I was "off to face my demons", but neither him nor me expected me to be skipping around after getting on the scales!!

Second official weigh in on Thursday morning, but we have our department Christmas Do this evening at a chinese, but I'm determined to lost another half stone this month.

Afterall, another reason why I enjoyed the holiday so much is that I didn't have to spend money on new clothes to fit the fuller figure, I slipped into my old jeans and jackets and spent more at the Christmas markets!!

Sorry for going on, but I'm rather chuffed!!

Fab news, well done!
