I went to the ball :)

Hi Everyone

As some of you know I have been keeping a diary on route to the ball well I went last night and it was amazing. Everyone had made a real effort and there were some fab frocks on show and actually I will include mine in that as it did look lovely. Well I didn't get any where close to my target but I am still two stone lighter than this time last year.

Seventeen of us went with our cdc and it was great to meet everyone and various stages of their journeys. We had a lovely photograph taken and we have all decided to go back next year to see how we all end up. I've never been to an event like this, each room in the hotel had soemthing going on, I even ventured into the casino, paid my 5.00 for my chips (no not that sort of chips ) all the money went to the hospice and we played with pretend money until we ran out.

At midnight they were serving bacon baps but I managed to avoid that section.. I did have a few glasses of wine along with my water, in fact at one stage I went looking for water as I am so used to it.

So all in all it was a really great evening and such a good idea getting all us cd ladies together. So I've hung up my ball gown and it's onwards into Christmas and beyond x

Thanks Felix, yes I took some pics, they are ok but I've still along way to go. I've tried to attach one but I can't seem to get it to work?
