Good news!!! Nothing else to syn that you've eaten so far....

Better news!!! You still have another B choice. The new potatoes are just included in the 1/3rd free on the plate (with the ham).

Whaay!

Goodness one syn for the day! I was so full!
But still had a treat when I got in :)

Thanks very much :)

It is worth noting that Success Express was created and used with a different definition of superfree - superfree used to be anything that is free on both green and red plans, eggs or cottage cheese for example. So actually people trying success express with the new definition of superfree are making life harder for themselves.

I just read the Slimming World Leaflet my consultant gave me about what I could/couldn't have!
Im only doing it as im having a difficult time at home at the minute and im trying to boost my weight loss before xmas so i can sort myself out over the xmas period!
I was treating it as the definition you mentioned above- thats why I was unsure if I should syn my kidney beans!
So am I doing it incorrectly?

Just thought I'd post the rules that I had been following when doing SE..

2/3rds SUPERFREE (Superfree foods are fruits and veg that are allowed on both red and green days) and 1/3rd FREE (Free foods are; meats, beans, pulses, pasta and 'green day only veg' - parsnips, peas, potatoes, sweetcorn, broad beans etc.)

Things like cottage cheese, eggs, tofu etc, I include as 'free' and not superfree.

Any syns that you take, must be taken at the highest value. eg, if something has 2 syns on green and 13 syns on red, you should count it as 13 syns.

Good news, you get 2 a and 2 b choices!!!

Any snacks have to be superfree only.

Think that's it... but if I've forgotten anything or you need to know anything else, just let me know.

I can't see any reason why you should need to syn your kidney beans, it was included in the third free food by the looks of it?

I may have read it wrongly, so please correct me Ruth if this was not the case, but the new potatoes were correctly a HEB choice as the ham alone had filled 1/3 of the plate - and that is the free food allowance?
