miss r's Atkins Diary - from CD to Atkins

miss-r

I can do it!!
Hello everyone on the atkins board!

I have been doing the Cambridge Diet since August and I have lost nearly 3 stone but over the past few weeks I have lost my enthusiasm and it hasn't been going very well, I keep going off plan and eating normal food albeit protein mainly, and I am quite fed up of the shakes by now.

I still have lots left though so i'm not sure what to do with them. They have a long date on them so I can always go back to cambridge.

I have been thinking of doing Atkins (or the Dukan Diet) for quite a while now and decided once i'd finished cambridge i'd do one of those, I have decided Atkins is best for me so I am going to start Tomorrow Morning.

I have read up on it but there is still lots I don't know so I expect i'l be asking lots of questions.

I've kept a cambridge diary which I've found helpful, so think i'l start an atkins one here too. I'l try and keep it interesting, incase anyone else has a look, and if you do feel free to come and say hello!!

Hey Daisy... always good to have a diary which will usually get gatecrashed with random non Atkins ramblings from us all! xx

Hiya and welcome to Atkins!

Idiots, this is Miss R's diary, LOL. LMAO. :)

Well it is day 1 and I haven't eaten anything yet, because I didn't get up very early today, whoops. (I have very dark curtains)

I weighed myself and I am still 14.10
I expect to gain a little bit but hope the numbers will soon start to go down again! I am about to find something to eat.

Oh last night I made a mim, as I happened to have all the ingredients.
I had a packet of ground flax unopened that I bought before I started on the cambridge diet so that was lucky. I added splenda and cinnamon and it was nice. I was a bit unsure how much granulated splenda to add but it seemed to work ok.
Right now to eat some proper food :)

I've had today:
3 large egg omelette, with parmesan grated.
A mim with butter.
turkey steak, with a few sprouts and a tsp cranberry sauce
Turkey with small amount jerk marinade,
feta cheese and cucumber,

Hi :)

I promise to always use your proper name Miss-R if you tell me how you do multi quote! :) It's beyond my pea sized brain :D

oooh me too I dont know how to do it

I've not long learned how to do it ladies so if I can you can (but not dukan ;))
Ok - hit the multiquote button (which is next to the quote button) on all the quotes you want to reply to. Then press the "reply" button and all the quotes will appear simply type underneath (after where it says QUOTE) and voila!
Hope that makes sense :) xx
