Does water really make a difference?

Does water really make a difference to the way your metabolism works? I'm worried that my weightloss has stalled before it's begun and if nothing's shifted by the weekend, I'll need to start thinking about what else can be done.

I can't cut out any more calories very easily (between 600 and 800 per day as it is) but I don't drink a vast amount of water. I tend to drink tea and juices instead.

Any thoughts on the use of water?

Water flushes toxins and things out of your system, I think these are the things that affect your metabolism.

When I first decided to try and lose weight I started by upping my water intake to 10 glasses a day. I lost half a stone without really doing much dieting.

Drinking cold water also causes your body to try and heat it up again as it goes in. This burns calories and kick starts your metabolism.

I'd definitely say it's important.
