So.... with a plan is that I need to loose 1.3kg (2.9lbs) a week in order to reach my goal weight by the end of March next year.

Why set myself such an impossible target date? Well, I am trying to qualify my Shetland pony stallion for the Indoor Driving Trial finals being held in Keysoe in Bedfordshire for April. And with a ferry journey to get there from Jersey (at a huge cost - prices are crazy!!), then I HAVE to give the little lad the best advantage that I can.

Have made a good start, with having lost 11kg since starting dieting on August 17th this year, but still have a way to go!

The Dukan diet suits me better than any other I think. I'm not to good with wheat (shame as I love pasta and bread) and am hugely missing rice!!

Have a small disadvantage as I HATE fish and offal, but other than that... yum!
 
Hi hon, good luck, but don't get too obsessed with that target - I'm not sure nearly 3 lbs per week is that achievable long term....

Had a bad evening last night and 'fell off the wagon'. :(

Was initially really angry with myself when I went to bed, but realised this morning that the couple of squares of Galaxy that I ate and the small gin and slimline tonic didn't take very good at all - so in effect I've just made it a lot easier on myself in the long run!

I know that maintaining a loss of 3lbs a week is going to be hard, but I am determined to get as close to my target weight as possible. Have got out and dusted off the 'Air Glider' exercise machine and dug out the Callanetics video - so it's down to me now! :rolleyes:
